Jane and the Damned by Janet Mullany
It's More Than Her Wit That's Biting.
And now for something completely different.
This book blew me away. I was expecting something similar to may other Austen inspired Vampire spinoffs, but, ordinary this book isn’t.
It’s cleverly written and alters history to make an exciting tale with everything from Romance, Sex, Fighting, War, Wit and Jane Austen style Humor.
Plenty of hint’s at story plots and characters that would develop into Jane Austen plots. Mean time, Jane is no longer at home for morning visits, she is up and dressed most inappropriately and out all night fighting along side the damned.
She even shocks herself at how easily she could settle into the lifestyle the damned have chosen, but her choice is a much, much harder one, immortality or writing?
A message to the author: Janet please stop trying to teach your cat etiquette, like the damned. Cat’s have their own set of rules. Please just finish the next book so that I can find out what happens next, I cannot wait! Jane and the Damned was so much fun, if you have not read it go out and get a copy at once.
I am on the look out for Blood Persuasion.
